TOMS (Telephone Order Management System)

The other main application Module within the TMS system is the TOMS (Telephone Order Management System). This new application system was designed and programmed by TELE-PLUS over the past 4 years and has evolved from almost 15 years of previous versions and related modules. Telecommunications Administrators and technicians assisted TELE-PLUS with the design and specification to meet very specific needs for Voice order processing and PBX / IP-PBX inventory management. TOMS provides an automated and electronic telephone work order process specifically designed for telephony with specialized logic for user defined work flow and customization of order processing. Specialized connections can be made into PBX, IP-PBX and Centrex equipment to initially build inventory and to perform ongoing updates, synchronization and reconciliations between PBX databases and the TOMS order and inventory database.

TOMS is linked to all other TMS databases and works in conjunction with the TIMS System but can also run a standalone system.
